Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.
El amor es como una amistad capturada en fuego. Al principio una llama, muy bonita, a menudo caliente y fiera, pero aún sólo luz y fluctuación. Según el amor crece, nuestros corazones maduran y nuestro amor se convierte en ascuas, ardientes en lo profundo e inextinguibles.
